Motherhood is a gift given by nature. Some
mothers are natural, while others have to make extra efforts and work on their
skills in the care of babies. But regardless of whether you are a natural
person or not, you will face problems of child care at a given point in time
and this is what your experience or the experiences of other mothers who could
pass through. The end result or the main goal is to do the right thing for your
baby as much as possible. Your baby is like a blank slate to start with.
Gradually, he / she make his / her own personality depending on how you take
him / her instead.
Baby summer or winter baby?
It is very important to handle your baby,
depending on the time of year when he / she is born. Eg winter babies require
more careful treatment and warm clothes. On the other hand, summer babies
should wear less clothing and good ventilation. During the winters, it is
preferable to have a humidifier in your baby’s room to prevent dryness and dehydration
set in.
Touch, comfort and safety:
Your baby has an acute sense of touch of his
/ her other senses are not as developed. It is therefore very important to keep
your baby close to you (particularly close to your heart) because nine months
of your baby in her womb has always been to listen to the heartbeat. Listen
heartbeat again if only to calm your baby. Provide a general sense of security
to choose the right clothes, swaddle blankets and other accessories for your
darling daughter.
Hygiene matters:
Umbilical cord of your baby dry and falls
within a week of birth. It is very essential to apply an antiseptic lotion
right after bathing your baby for about 2-3 weeks. While bathing your baby,
always hold the baby in an upward slope with the head of the chair. After that,
hold the baby under the arms and clean the baby. Do not keep your baby’s diaper
for more than 8 hours.
Feeding and burping in the right position:
Usually need to be fed every 2-3 hours. Your
child will always give you signs that you need. If you bottle feed your baby,
make sure to keep the head and neck of the baby's head on an upward slope. Be
careful not to drown your baby and make sure that no liquid enters the lungs of
your child.
They are a joy to behold and hold. The intense
love and affection that the mother has her baby cannot be matched to any other
and therefore should be channeled to take good care of your child.
