Christmas Cookie Recipes - Santa Face Cookies

Santa Face Cookies

Santa Face Cookies:
  • 1 cup butter.
  • 1/2 cup sugar.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons milk.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 2 1/2 cups flour plus additional for rolling.
  • Royal Packaged Icing Mix.
  • Red food coloring.
  • Pastel candy dots. 
Instructions :
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Put the butter in a bowl and cream until nice and fluffy. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Combine the milk and vanilla . Add flour and mix well. The suspension is cooled for 1 to 2 hours or until it is easy to handle.Working with 1/ 3 of the dough at a time and refrigerate until ready to serve.On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Take a cookie cutter in the shape of Santa Claus and dip in flour, then cut Santa faces. Place cookies on ungreased oven.Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely.Prepare the royal icing according to package directions. Ice network medium and leave the other half of the original color. The use of an ice bag or a plastic bag with a hole cut in the same hole, took a red Santa hat on each cookie. Followed with white frosting for Santa's beard, eyes and hat with pompom.Place a candy decoration in the center of each white eye. Allow the icing to harden before serving.Makes 18 to 24 cookies .
Christmas Snowmen Cookie: 
These dolls are easy to make and they make nice decorations centerpiece.
  • 1 (16 oz.) package Nutter Butter Cookies.
  • 1 1/4 pounds white candy coating, melted.
  • Miniature chocolate chips.
  • M&M miniature baking bits.
  • Pretzel sticks, halved.
  • Orange and red decorating gel or frosting. 
Instructions: 
Using tongs, dip in candy coating , shaking off excess. Place cookie on waxed paper.
To decorate : Place two chocolate chips on one end of cookies for eyes. Place baking bits via buttons. For arms, dip ends of two pretzel stick halves into coating; hold of each side.Let stand until hardened. Pipe the nose and scarf with gel or frosting.Makes 32 cookies.
Christmas Peppermint Twist Kiss Cookies :
The peppermint twist is not just a song, but a holiday cookie delicioius is colorful and festive.
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened.
  • 1/3 cup sugar.
  • 1 egg yolk.
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  • 4 to 8 drops red food coloring.
  • 36 chocolate kisses. 
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar. Add the egg yolk, peppermint extract and vanilla extract and mix well.In another bowl, combine flour and salt, gradually add to creamed mixture.Divide the dough into two sections. Colors red section. Divide dough into four sections. You should have two red sections and two fixed sections. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.Form each section into a log 9 inches. Place a plain log next to a red diary . Slowly turn smooth and red papers together and create a newspaper swirled. Repeat with the other two newspapers.Cut each log into nine slices, roll each portion into a ball. Place each 1 inch apart on ungreased oven. Flatten slightly with a glass. 
Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Press a piece of chocolate candy kiss in center of each cookie , while the cookies are still warm.
Makes 36 cookies.

Christmas Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies


Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies
     A cloud of marshmallow floating on top of a tasty chocolate cookie.
1/2 cup butter, softened.
1 cup sugar.
1 egg.
1/4 cup milk.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour.
1/3 cup baking cocoa.
1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
16 to 18 large marshmallows.
Pecan halves.
Cookie Icing.
Instructions: 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a large bowl , cream butter and sugar. Add egg , milk and vanilla and mix well.In another bowl , combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, stir into creamed mixture.Come rounded tablespoons coffee on the plates. Bake for 8 minutes.Meanwhile , cut the marshmallows in the middle. A side press means marshmallow ( cut below) on each biscuit . Bake cookies for 2 minutes. Cool completely. 
Icing Biscuits:
6 tablespoons butter, softened.
2 tablespoons baking cocoa.
1/4 cup milk.
1 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar.
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions:
In a small saucepan , combine butter , cocoa and milk. Bring to boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cool slightly , transfer to a small bowl. Beat the confectioners sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cooled cookies . Top each cookie with a pecan half . 
Makes 36 cookies. 
Christmas holiday cookies Macaron:
Light as a witness to the air with coconut and cherries.
4 eggs.
1 1/2 cups sugar.
2/3 cup all purpose flour.
1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
1/4 teaspoon salt.
2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
5 cups flaked coconut.
1 jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved.
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.Prepare baking sheets with cooking spray . Sprinkle with flour .In a bowl , beat eggs until frothy . Gradually add sugar, beating constantly until thick and pale yellow.In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt, stir into egg mixture. Add butter, vanilla and coconut.Come teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets. Press a cherry on each cookie. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes.
Makes 72 cookies.
Christmas Cookies Raspberry Kiss 
These delicious cookies are easy to make and are a wonderful light treatment.
3 egg whites.
1/8 teaspoon salt.
3/4 cup sugar.
3 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons raspberry gelatin powder.
1 tablespoon white vinegar.
1 cup miniature chocolate chips.
Instructions :
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.Line baking sheets with parchment paper.In a bowl , beat egg whites and salt until frothy . Mix powdered sugar and gelatin , gradually add the egg whites , beating until stiff peaks form and sugar is dissolved . Beat in the vinegar. Stir in chocolate chips. Come teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on the plates. Bake for 25 minutes. Turn oven off , leaving kisses in the oven for 20 minutes. Cool completely. 
Makes 72 cookies.

Christmas Surprise Cookies
3/4 cup of shortening.
3/4 cup of light brown sugar.
1 egg.
1 3/4 cups flour.
1 teaspoons baking soda.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
3/4 cup shredded coconut.
2 teaspoons cream of tartar.
Any flavor jam or jelly.
Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
    Cream the shortening and the sugar together, add the egg and mix it all together well. Sift the dry ingredients together and add them to the wet mix.
   Add vanilla and mix, drop the dough by teaspoons-full onto an ungreased cookie sheet. With your finger or a spoon, make an indentation in the center of the cookie ball and fill with jam or jelly. Sprinkle coconut over all and bake at for 10-12 minutes.
Fruited Shortbread Cookies
2 1/2 cups flour.
1 teaspoons cream of tartar.
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar.
1 - 9 ounce jar mincemeat.
1 teaspoon vanilla.
1 teaspoon baking soda.
1 cup butter, softened.
1 egg.
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
     Combine the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add the egg. Stir in the vanilla and the mincemeat. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mix. Mix together well. (The batter will be stiff.) Roll into 1 1/4" balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly brown.
Tip:
    You can freeze these cookies with a glaze if you like. Mix the icing sugar with a few drops of milk and vanilla until it reaches a thick but pourable consistency. Pour over Christmas cookies while they are still hot.
Almond Christmas Balls:
1 cup of soft butter.
1/4 cup of confectioner's sugar.
2 cups of sifted flour.
1 cup of ground almonds.
1 teaspoon of almond extract.
Candied or maraschino cherries.
Granulated sugar (for rolling cookies after baking).
     Beat butter and sugar. Add the flour, ground almonds and almond extract and mix until a dough. Roll a teaspoon of dough into a ball , press the center and place a cherry in the center . Cherry Cover completely with the dough. Bake the cookies balls in a greased cookie sheet for 30minutes at 325°F. Roll in granulated sugar before cooling.Makes about 4 dozen cookies.Each of these holiday recipes can be stored in an airtight container for at least a week.

Christmas Cookie Recipes - Easy & Delicious

 Christmas Cookie Recipes
     There are so many Christmas cookie recipes around but often so little time to cook during the holiday season.
     I suggest You A base tasting cookie recipe that quickly and easily transforms into a variety of easy as making Christmas treats, friends and family will think you poured over all your favorite Christmas cookie recipes.
Start with the basics. 
Cookie dough recipe: 
1/2 cup (or 1 stick) butter ( or margarine ) at room temperature.
1/2 cup brown sugar , lightly packed.
2 tablespoons sugar.
1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
1 large egg.
1 Vanilla extract teaspoon.
1 1/ 2 cups all-purpose flour.
     In a large bowl , combine all ingredients except flour. Beat with an electric mixer, scraping sides of bowl several times, until the mixture is light and fluffy. With the mixer on low speed, add the flour gradually, beating until mixture is smooth.
    Place mixture in a baking sheet using a tablespoon measure and press with a spoon to flatten a bit. Or roll our and cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. Bake at 350 º F for about 12 to 15 minutes, until golden.
    This cookie base mixture is also the base for the following cookie recipes (all baked in a preheated oven at 350 º F). 
Orange Cookies: 
( Makes about 32 )
In addition to the basic dough you will need:
     Add 1 tablespoon of grated orange zest to the recipe. Shape into a log that is about 1 1/2" in diameter and refrigerate for 4 hours.
     Slice dough into 1/4" thick slices. Place on cookie sheet. Cookies can be decorated with candies, rolled in colored sugar, or cut into pretty holiday shapes before baking. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned. 
Cherry Coconut Chocolate Squares: 
( Makes about 54 squares ).
In addition to the basic dough you will need:
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
3 large eggs.
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar.
1 teaspoon almond extract.
1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
3 cups flaked coconut.
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, well drained and coarsely chopped.
Line a 13"x9" baking pan with foil.
    Stir the cocoa powder in the batter mixture. Press evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the dough is dry.
     In a medium bowl combine eggs , sugar , almonds and baking powder and mix well extracted. Add the coconut and cherries. Pour over baked crust.
     Bake for 30-35 minutes, until top begins to brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Levante on a cutting board with the ends of the leaves and cut into 1 1/2 " square. Squares can be stored in an airtight container up to 3 weeks. 
Coco pineapple coconut cookies: 
( Makes about 36 ).
In addition to the basic dough you will need:
1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut.
1/3 cup pineapple preserves (use raspberry or apricot if you prefer).
     Add 1 cup of the coconut mixture to the dough and mix well. Shape dough into 1 1/ 2 " balls and roll in the remaining coconut to coat. Place balls of" participation in lightly greased baking sheets . Make a deep indentation in center of each cookie with your finger.
    Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cookie is firm and the coconut is lightly toasted . Once cooled, fill each hole in the center of the cookies with jam.
    You can change this basic dough to make a wide variety of Christmas cookies recipes. Add other flavorings like maple, ginger or cinnamon. Add chopped dried fruits like apricots or dates. Or cook plain in holiday shapes and decorate with colored icing.
