Healthy Chocolate Recipe

Chocolate Recipe
Recent research is finding that "low fat " actually means more sugar . Begins to read food labels carefully. There is nothing healthy in increasing sugar or artificial sweetener !
So if you have a sweet tooth, then take a look at this recipe based ...
Ingredients:
•1/2 cup raw pecans, almonds, or walnuts
•4 or 5 tbsp of your favorite organic nut butter (try cashew butter, almond butter, peanut butter).
•Extra dark chocolate bar.
•2/3 to 3/4 cup of organic coconut milk (great source of healthy saturated fats).
•2 tbsp rice bran (source of additional fiber source).
•2 tbsp oat bran (healthy fiber including soluble fiber).
•1/2 cup raw pecans, almonds, or walnuts (contains antioxidants, and vitamins/minerals).
•1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins (optional).
•1 tsp vanilla extract.
•a little stevia to lightly sweeten (stevia is a natural non-caloric sweetener, see description below).
Method:
Melt the chocolate bar, butter and coconut milk in a medium saucepan over low heat ( I prefer to use a bowl in a water bath in a saucepan. This prevents the chocolate and other ingredients combustion ).Stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or a whisk.Once all the ingredients have melted add the remaining ingredients.     Spread mixture on baking paper on a baking sheet. Make sure the ingredients are well mixed so that you can spread the mixture into the prepared pan.Place the baking dish in the refrigerator until the mixture solidifies.
Stevia substitute:
You may have seen in many healthy recipes Stevia as an alternative to sugar. So I thought I would explain a little more about you. The Stevia plant is said to be 300 times sweeter than sugar. The positive when using Stevia dots instead of sugar, just as it is an effect on the levels of blood sugar and contains no calories. You can buy Stevia and natural food stores and many supermarkets.
Portion control:
This delicious treat is still abundant in calories, but is super healthy to keep small portions and use as a delight to see the afternoon dinner. The good news is that the fudge is low in calories and sugar in would normally buy in a store.
