Baby Care Tips for New Parents

Baby Care Tips
Are you a new parent? If the answer to this question is yes  you should know that caring for a newborn is not an easy task (You can tell it's not a game of children). However, do not be alarmed as well, because their parents were new parents and that was only fine. Babies are fragile and need proper nutrition and care in order to stay safe and healthy. Since their immune systems are very weak at the beginning it is always mandatory that you maintain hygiene in and around your home.
Here are some tips to help you care for your baby :
Know Thier Nutrition:
Infants nutritional needs vary depending on their ages. Newborn babies should be breastfed in order to get the right nutrition and antibodies to fight disease. However, as they grow, they will start to take solid food pasta slowly. You should consult your doctor to determine what needs to be fed and when they start eating solid foods.Clothing:
Clothing is another important factor to look for in so many children are allergic to particular materials. Therefore, you should ensure that you regularly check for signs of rash if suddenly started using a new type of material.
Change their diapers at the right time:
Be sure to change the baby's diaper when soiled. Otherwise, it can also lead to a precipitate development. Also, babies are fragile and so you must be careful when you change them, otherwise you can damage your legs while taking off his coat.
Bath - A crucial aspect of Daily life:
Be sure to wash with warm water. There are many places in the world where babies cold baths are given, but most children tend to get the flu when done.
Newborn babies need to be bathed quickly and at the same time to pay attention too. Get towel ready and wrapped in when finished. Do not give them the opportunity to catch a cold. Ask your doctor about this soap that can be used, as they often choose mild soaps that are also hypoallergenic.
Preparing things beforehand will help you avoid hassle in the middle. Thus, make sure that all the necessary items such as baby bath tub, baby towel, baby soap, baby shampoo, diapers and clothes are all ready.
Your newborn should be bathed in a warm room so switch off fan and air conditioner.
While placing the newborn in the bathtub, your one hand should be supporting his back and neck while the other hand should be supporting his bottom.
The water should be neither too hot nor too cold. An ideal temperature of the water would be 29C or 85F.
Soap should not be used on the baby's face.
Bathtub could be uncomfortable and hard for the baby, so always put a bath sheet for your baby's comfort.
Sing to your baby while you bathe him/her, so that he/she enjoys.
Don't pick them up suddenly
You need to make sure that your baby is ready to be picked up. Hold them first and give them time to curl their bodies to be lifted. If they're sleeping you should be gentle in lifting them up as they won't curl up their bodies and be ready for you.
Baby nutrition tips:
Your baby needs water but not in the plain and distilled form. Whatever need of water the baby has, is fulfilled through the milk. Therefore, you are not supposed to provide him water until he is above 6 months. Once he starts teething, he would need water but until then just feed him milk.
Tips on baby tooth care:
Most of the parents ignore baby tooth care, assuming that the early baby teeth are of not much importance or do not need much care. This is not the right assumption! Baby tooth care should start right from the birth so that it paves way for healthy gums and teeth in the long run.
In order to take a good care of your baby's teeth, the steps given below should be conducted:
Cleaning your baby's gums right from the time you introduce semi-solid food would help your baby have strong teeth throughout his life. Gums can be cleaned with the help of cotton or any other soft or rubbery material which does not cause rashes on the gums. This should be done at least once a day.
Avoid putting your baby to sleep with the milk or juice bottle in his mouth. The lactose in milk can react with the mouth bacteria, which results in tooth discoloration and other dental problems. Always take the bottle out of the baby's mouth at the time of sleep.
