Mass index BMI, or body, is a formula that doctors use to determine exactly how a person is overweight . A BMI between 25 and number 30 indicates that the patient is overweight, if 30 or more, this is an indication of obesity. Approximately 70 % of adults in this country can be classified as overweight, and about 35 % of adults are considered obese. The lack of fresh vegetables, fruits and whole grains can make the effects of fries and burgers that much more serious.
