     Healthy food for children are the same foods that are good for the rest of us to eat. There is no magic combination of foods that are specific to each age group.
    However, getting the children that can be used for the consumption of the worst foods to eat, fast food and junk food in cellophane, can be a chore. Even this obstacle to a healthy diet can be overcome with a little diligence and effort on your part.
     Any healthy diet plan begins and ends with the foods you allow in your house. Yes, you truly are the master of your domain and it is up to you to make sure only good healthy foods get into your kitchen.

     Getting kids to eat healthy can seem like a daunting task, but it can be done. Just take small steps to the abandonment of junk food and healthy food to acclimate.

     Many low-cost health recipes can be used to make delicious meals for the whole grains category.This list includes:
* Whole grain breads.
* Whole grain cereals from oats, whole kernel corn, or whole wheat.
* Whole grain pasta made from whole wheat or spelt.
* Corn meal that has not been degerminated makes great corn bread.
* Corn chips made from the entire kernel of corn.
* Brown or wild rice (or mixes of both). 
    Even snacks can make a big part of the daily nutritional needs of a child. So you better put some effort into providing healthy snack time foods.
Many children will choose to eat a raw carrot instead of a sweet sticky if they had the choice.
     Sometimes it is easier to find healthy food for children if you only provide the food then let them choose for themselves.
    Once you look beyond the fast and start making healthy food choices from the list of healthy foods to eat begins to seem almost endless meals.
