Healthy Diet for Kids

Healthy Diet for Kids
Here are some suggestions that we hope will help you develop a healthy diet for your childrens.
Try to keep the level of sugar in the diet to a minimum. Not only sugar rots teeth, but can also cause your child to gain weight if you have too much of it. It can be difficult , but it is often better to give your children more than their main offer pastries, appetizers or dessert after your meal. You can also encourage your children to eat more fruits and make healthy snacks like fruit and yogurt bars without sugar.
Be a good role model. If you expect your kids to eat all their vegetables, you should ensure that you eat too much. Children imitate the behavior of the people around them and they need to see you eat too much.
Do not give in to advertising. Many children tend to eat food that is advertised or promoted on television or friends. It will not be easy to prevent thirst for these applications, particularly for the latest articles. However, they do benefit the long term health of their children and think about how it can affect their behavior if given what they want all the time. It's fine to buy things they want from time to time, but make sure you do not eat unhealthy food all the time.
Do not use food as a gift. If your children think food is a reward for good behavior , which can become a habit for life . You should make sure they see food as fuel and not a luxury.
Eat Variety Foods that are served in a variety of different colors. Unhealthy food is great every once in a while, as long as there are good healthy foods eaten in between. So be sure to include a diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables of different colors in fresh foods for their children.
The Center for Disease Control has pointed out that our youngest generation is the first in decades that is facing a life expectancy shorter than yours. Obesity and weight issues have been cited as the reason why. Over the past 15 years, we have seen the obesity rate in young children double. And its more than tripled in teenagers. Physical Education is being cut in literally every part of the world and youth sports have become an ultra competitive affair that yield next to no health benefits whatsoever.
We are most certainly facing a crisis. Parents don't know what to feed their kids anymore. How can they? There is so much misinformation and advertising more gadgets on the market that confusion and indecision have become quite normal. What about exercise? If your children do not go to school, do not get through sport and usually do not like to exercise anyway, what should parents do ?We have to make a change and do it fast. This program has been rightly called the "final solution" to the crisis of obesity among young people, and that is about to find out why.
