     Good nutrition is important for the growth and development of their children. The food choices for their young age can influence the future risk to the health of children and their eating habits may in later life.
    You know the importance of healthy food for their children, but sometimes the kids just will not eat healthy foods. If this is the problem, do not force your children to eat everything on your plate. Your kids can just get bored of the taste.
     Children always looking for something new, and quickly get tired of eating the same foods. When you do not eat much in the main course, try to approach them with nutritious snacks to take to ensure they get the full range of nutrients. Kids love snacks!
     Here are two recipes for healthy snacks for your children. These recipes are so easy to prepare (only basic ingredients and simple steps), versatile (can change the ingredients to suit your child 's taste), and healthy.  
1.Healthy Snack Recipe : The Powerballs
     This recipe is so fast you will not even ask for the kitchen. However, it is rich in protein and a variety of vitamins and minerals that are good for children.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of peanut butter.
  • 1 cup of honey.
  • 3 cups of whole grain oats.
  • 1/2 cup of ground flaxseed.
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • 1 cup of nuts and dried fruits mixture (can be any combination of peanuts, walnuts, almonds, raisins, chopped cranberries etc).
Method of preparation:
     -Start by combining the butter and honey in a large bowl, mix until smooth.
   
-Pour in oats , flax, chocolate chips and nuts and trail mix. Mix and match.
   
-Roll dough into balls. Keep Powerballs snack in the fridge.This recipe yields 40 to 60 snack balls. 
2.Healthy Snack Recipe: Crunchy Veggie Nuggets:
Crunchy Nuggets are still popular among children. This recipe is very simple, and can help you get your kids to eat vegetables!
Ingredients:  
  • 2 pounds of potatoes.
  • 2 cups of mixed vegetables (carrot, corn, peas or any vegetables you like, make sure they are in small pieces).
  • 2 eggs, beaten.
  • 1 cup of whole wheat flour.
  • 2 cups of corn flakes, crushed.
  • Vegetable oil.
Method of preparation:
*Boil the potatoes and peel. Mash the potatoes until smooth. Mix the vegetables and mix well with the mashed potatoes.
*Now let's start making chips. First, get a spoonful of mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes and shape into a nugget. Roll in flour seed coat , followed by the eggs and corn flakes last. Nuggets continue for the rest of the mixture. When all is done, place in refrigerator and let cool for about 30 minutes for the Nuggets to maintain its shape.
*It's time to cook fries. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot enough, fry the patties in the batch plant for 2-3 minutes, until crispy nuggets and brown. Drain on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.This recipe makes 10 to 15 vegetable seeds.
