    Obesity is largely a modern problem. Even as late as the mid-twentieth century, is considered a sign of good health to be a person with enough padding. Returning another century until the mid- 1800s, it was considered a sign of beauty, if a woman has generous shapes. This goes back to the roots of humanity, has enough to eat was a question mark in the lives of the majority. The average person did not have 3 meals a day, and have developed ways to survive periods without food. 
     But how do we know this? It is true that the Elizabethan era and the 1950s are both in the history books, but what humanity has evolved methods to tackle malnutrition? Weight loss Research in Utah and elsewhere, has released a lot of the way back from our modern combat obesity. If you run out of food at a later time, the body can start burning your fat reserves to stay alive. 
    This worked well to keep people alive for  millennia of dubious nutritional intake. However, in modern developed countries, people take in more calories than they need to maintain their level of activity. Their bodies, not knowing that there will always be food for the average person in their lives, continue to store excess energy in the form increasingly larger fat reserves. There are two ways to fight it. The first is to eat less. This does not increase their fat reserves. But this alone is not enough to find someone who is already obese to start paying part of their excess fat. To do this, you must also increase your activity level.
