     Christmas is almost upon us and everyone is still in the festive mood, could not be happier for most of us now. Additional days we spent time with family , friends and the closest to us.
    Many families have favorite recipes for family holidays that bring fond memories of a loved one. Very often, many family recipes can be connected to the generations gone. Loving family carry on the traditions of the family recipe that started years ago by the recipes that have been passed from generation to generation.
     Some recipes are just supposed holiday table, while many are prepared and given as Christmas gifts to friends and family. There are special family recipes and always prepared for certain periods, such as Christmas breakfast or dinner.so Family Christmas can begin to describe our recette for today.

Ingredients Christmas recipe :
*
white flour, plain 175 g (6 oz).
*butter, 225 g (8oz).
*caster sugar, 124 g (4 oz).
*orange, grated rind and juice from 1.
*egg yolk, 1.
*prunes, no-soak pitted 225 g (8 oz).
*eating apple, 1.
*calvados, 60 ml (4 tbsp).
*almonds, ground 25 g (8 oz).
*eggs, beaten 2.
*almonds, slivered or flaked 25 g (1 oz).
*apricot jam, 125 g (4 oz).
*Greek yogurt or fresh cream 
Instructions Christmas recipe :

Food Processing orange zest, sugar(25 g, 1 oz) diced cold butter(125 g, 4 oz). Continue until the breadcrumbs and then pour into a bowl.

Mix egg yolk and water mixtures (30 ml, 2 c) of the mixture of step 1 to form a ball. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Pour the grated apple and chopped prunes Calvados. Mix the remaining sugar, beaten eggs, ground almonds, butter (melted) remaining.

Line a 9-inch pan ( 1.25 cm deep with a volume basis ) with a thin laminated dough. Bake until set.

Take almond mixture from step 3 and add the plums and apples. Sprinkle with almonds and bake for 30 minutes at 5 ° ( 375 centgrade 190 degrees F) or until golden brown. Cool for about 20 minutes.

Sift a mixture of melted jam and orange juice (15 ml, 1 tablespoon ) and brush on top of the cake in the oven. Serve hot or cold with sour cream or Greek yogurt.
